A Celtic prayer...

As I stir the embers of my daily fire, I ask you, living God, to stir the embers of my heart into a flame of love for you, for my family, for my neighbor...for my enemy.

    Hello,
May I offer a Celtic prayer of blessing that is a guiding light for me?

    Go in peace,
and May the Christ who walks on wounded Feet
walk with you on the road,
May the Christ Who serves with wounded Hands,
stretch out your hands to serve.
May the Christ Who loves with a wounded Heart
    open your hearts to love
May you see the Face of Christ in everyone you meet
and may everyone you meet see the Face of Christ in you
    This both now and forevermore.

I appreciate both prayers posted on this blog, but also, what a beautiful prayer from monk-in-training

    monk-in-training,
Thanks for offering this Celtic prayer of blessing.

On a side note, I see that you are linked with the Tulsa Emergent Cohort. I lived in Tulsa for eight years growing up. It is interesting to see the "emergent conversation" taking place across the church in many places and among people from various church traditions.

May God's rich blessing be upon you.

    Brian
